Decision-making responsibility, parenting time, parenting orders, contact

Parenting rights and obligations could be one of the most heart-wrenching family law issues after separation. The legal right to make decisions about the children's health, education, language, extra-curricular activities, etc. may be allocated by the court to any of the parents, or a person who stands in place of a parent, or a combination of those persons.

Parenting time

The Court may allocate parenting time with a child by way of a schedule. This schedule refers to the sharing of the time spent by the child between parents. The Court will always look at the best interest of the child.
